2. Europameisterschaft im Fussballgolf
Im letzten Jahr hat die Initiative "Deutschland - Land der Ideen" unter der Schirmherrschaft von Ex- Bundespräsident Horst Köhler den Soccerpark Dirmstein in der Kategorie „Sport und Tourismus“ zu einem "Ausgezeichneten Ort 2009" gewählt.
Im Rahmen dessen veranstalteten wir die Europameisterschaft im Fußballgolf. Insgesamt 120 Teilnehmer aus 8 Nationen starteten bei teilweise schwierigen Bedingungen mit Sturmböen und Regenschauern am Samstag im Halbfinale. Die besten 60 durften dann am Sonntag in zwei Finalrunden um den Titel des ersten Europameisters spielen.
Wir würden uns sehr freuen, wenn wieder zahlreiche von euch den Weg zu uns finden würden, um den Titelverteidiger Hape Baudy herauszufordern.

Last year, the initiative "Germany - Land of Ideas" under the aegis of the former Federal President Horst Köhler chose the Soccerpark Dirmstein in the category "Sports and Tourism" to a "Awarded Place 2009".
Because of that we hosted the European Championship in footballgolf. A total of 120 participants from 8 nations started in sometimes difficult conditions with strong winds and rain on saturday in the semifinals. The best 60 were then allowed to play on Sunday in two final rounds for the title of the first European Champion.
We would appreciate a large attendance from all nations to challenge the defending champion Hape Baudy.
